Well another successful shoot under the belt and some very nice photos from the 1000 or so we shot on the day. Now busy going through them and posting them to flickr and the like. Decided to open a page on the likes of modelmauhem and purestorm. I would love to hear anybodys experiences of them along with anyone who has tried posting pictures on stock photography sites. This shoot involved various sets and outfits showing these two lovely ladies off to their best. I hope you like them – as ever any feedback is greatly appreciated. So after being surprised by the last shoot and studio I now get to set things up myself and shoot these two lovely ladies again. Found a great local studio which has a few ready made sets to use. The include a barn area (complete with tin bath) american diner, double bed, lounge area, office area etc. So my mind is working over time to try and work out how best to make use of the available props. Also hoping to start getting some prints sold and hopefully get some shots that may get published. If anyone has any ideas, contacts etc on making money from this then please be sure to let us know.

Well what a busy time it has been. We have been checking out the local studios in the area and then Sophie surprised me with a studio day when she had also invited Sam to come down and join us. This photography lark is definitely my drug of choice – though the more you get the more you need. Still looking for that break so time to send some of the photographs off to magazines and the like. Time to get published and then the drug can start paying for itself.

Currently looking for new ideas and locations so please do let us know if you have any. Looking for an old derelict building to do some shoots in.

Well hasn’t it been a busy time. I have a shoot lined up with a model in Leeds so been busy trying to get a studio for it. And wouldn’t you know it Sophie is back in tomorrow for the second operation on her foot – meanign another 2 weeks without putting weight on it. Still we managed to get a few shots in lately so we hope you like them. Just playing with lights and poses but they seem to work. Still working towards and waiting for the big break that’ll let me give up the day job but I’m sure it will come.

I’m looking for another model to pose with Sophie for some saucy shots – sexy secretary and female boss, naughty schoolgirl and teach etc. Been put in contact with someone who hosts dress up parties, mostly schoolgril/boy and may be able to attend and take photos so need a few to show, As ever get in touch if you are interested and we’ll set something up.

Sorry it’s been a while but things have been moving at a hell of a rate. The photography business is well under way – have a name and the website is registered and is getting prepared as we speak. Our friend who made Sophie’s corset is looking for someone to take photographs for her clients and would like to offer the service so with portfolio and business cards in hand I’m off to see her again next Wednesday. Also a friend of mine knows a toastmaster who is looking for wedding photographers for work so another bonus.

This really has got us both excited and we can only hope what it will bring. Been looking at studios in the area and have a few lined up should I need them. Need to get the usual things sorted out with starting a business so if you have any help or advice it would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure many of you have had at least thoughts of doing this in the past so what gotyas did you find along the way. Also a quick request for anyone in the UK, preferably around the northwest though can travel and have portable studio equipment, who knows of anyone who is looking to start or expand their portfolio, to please get in touch and we can do each other a favour.

We Are Back

Hi all,

Sorry we have been away for a while – things to sort out.

So what has been happening – well we finially got the corsets finished. Everything went against us including the lady who was making it breaking her hand. But it was definitely worth the wait as I hope you’ll see from the photos posted over the next few days.

Also turning the ripe old age of 40 last week my wife bought me a day in a professional studio to help me learn a thing or two. Was a great day and only affirmed to me how much I love doing this and I really should do something more with it, So at some time in the near future I’ll let you know all the business details, until then if you want your photo taken let me know as I’m still building a portfolio.

Wow – apologies – we didnt realise that it had been a couple of weeks since we posted on here. Time certainly flies – we will soon have the Easter eggs in the shops – ie 1st Jaunary

So what has been happening – well Sophie’s foot is well on the mend as you can see from some of the recent photos. She can’t actually walk in heels as it is too painful but she hobbles around and bears standing so hats off to her. As regards the corset – we went back to check the fitting and choose the material we wanted. Hopefully we were going to have it now but the lady who makes them went and fell injuring her arm. We really wanted it for Christmas – ah well.

Hope you like the new sets of photos that you see. We are trying to play with lighting a little bit more and seeing what we can do – as ever all your comments and suggestions are welcome. Someone has asked us to take some photos of Sophie tied up. Been a while since I ddi any rope work so I’m guessing it may be a little dodgy – but we are up for trying anything.

Well just when I thought there would be no more photos for a while because of Sophie’s foot – in she hobbles wearing Christmas underwear. Seems like flickr is like an addiction to us – so on that thought we thought we would ask you what you would like to see. I’m sure that you all have some great ideas and I’m sure we can accomodate most of them.

Other than that we are all set for Christmas coming. We are going to be in Belgium over the New Year so let us know if you are in the area and would like to meet up. We haven’t yet managed to actually meet any flickr friends but it is a community and we at least know we all have one thing in common.  Maybe we shouldn’t be so backwards in coming forward.  If you want to get to know us better – let us know.

Well it can’t be right – sitting here with itchy fingers and the camera equipment stowed away. Sophie sitting here next to me with her foot up on the coffee table to keep the swelling down. Let’s hope it’s good news when we go back and see the surgeon on Wednesday.

We have to say a great big thank you – ober 61,000 views and counting. It has done wonders for both of us that you like the photostream so much. Just fuels the fire to take more and experiment further. To all who commented on the dress a great big thank you – she will definitely be wearing it out and about and I’ll make sure I get the proof of the pudding with photos.

Well the pole dancing shots ahve started to be added to the photostream – going back over them is nearly as much fun as taking them was. There are plenty I could post but guessing people may get bored of them.

Thanks to all of you who had kind words for Sophie’s op. Things went well and she has a huge badage round it. Curiously enough she can’t get a sock round it and is ‘forced’ to wear a hold up as it is the only thing that will go over it. The surgeon says 2 weeks without bearing any weight on it – then a return appointment to check it out – and then she can start to lean on it – albeit still with crutches.

So you may see a few shots from the waist up for a while – let’s see how things go. Once again thanks for all the messages.
